Hip Hostess Class – Sweet Land of Liberty Theme….

Hi Everyone,

I recently had the pleasure of teaching my very first crafting class hosted by Tutti Bambini in which I shared tips and tricks for being the ideal "Hip Hostess".

It was a wonderful afternoon and I was so lucky to share it with all the sweet guests that attended. The purpose behind these classes are to share and teach in person the ideas and crafts that you all so sweetly always applaud when I post my creations here on the site or on facebook.

Wether it be by email or in person, I am often asked to share tutorials or help teach specific crafts.  That helped me with the concept behind these classes and in addition you get to see an actual set up of a table in which you can use for inspiration when you are creating/styling your own event. =) In person you can ask questions, you can be hands on with the craft and I am there to guide you every step of the way.

Below is the sweet set up I styled for the class. I used paper fan rosettes and a scalloped round 4 inch circle banner to decorate a canvas which was displayed as the "sweet table" backdrop. I reached out to one of my all time favorite vendors, Ana from Two Sweet Cakery.

Two Sweet Cakery was truly so incredible and provided delicious and adorable sweet treats. The too cute "Uncle Sam" cake pops went perfect with the set up and not only would the kids love to eat these but they also come with a cute little ring favor for them to wear.

Class OVERVIEW:

Paper Fan Rosettes

Crepe Paper flowers

how to use and style with a digital file

how to use a 4 inch scalloped punch to make a trendy banner, gift package favors and create a cake topper.

Many of these things are so versatile and I went over the best techniques to create them, my tips and tricks and ideas on how to use them. I even shared where to shop and the best products to buy.

Below is our class set up and my teaching area. (thank you to the Tutti staff for allowing me to re arrange things a bit while there)

Here are some of the delicious and gorgeous macarons and Fourth of July inspired Chocolate Oreos by Ana of Two Sweet Cakery.

Favors and delicious push up pops by Ana of Two sweet cakery were displayed in the adorable kiddie corner. Having a designated area for the little ones always keeps things in control and ensures they won't feel left out. I designed a simple sheet with a couple stars which the kids can color and cut out (with the help of parents if necessary) and they can also write why they love America. Sabrina, proudly stated she loves America because the "flag is pretty". We hung ours in a manzanita tree we are using as decoration for the Fourth of July. At the end of lunch, dinner or the fireworks display the kids can take turns reading why they love America. Cute huh! =)

Below are some of the adorable favors that I recommend can be used for a Fourth of July celebration. Here you have something as simple and sweet as cotton candy re packaged to work with your choice of theme.

Another delicious and adorable favor was this individual apple pie. One dessert that comes to mind that represents our country is  Apple pie… and a side of ice cream please. =)

If you are wondering what was in the SWAG BAG… It was fabulous and I was so grateful for the sweet and incredible vendors that shared some of their wonderful items with me.  The Swag bag included an adorable mini Father's Day ready to use printed sheet. Our guests made really neat crafts during the class with their individual sheet. They got to share it with their hubby's or loved ones the next day on Father's Day.

In addition, Two Sweet Cakery spoiled us some more by providing the most delicious red, white and blue macarons. Nancy from Viva Verde Shop provided these stunning jeweled bracelets which are so very stylish and chic.

And who can forget the too cute, Father's Day cards and ideas for the kids to surprise their dads with. Any Fourth of July retail at Tutti Bambini was on sale only for our guests.  Lastly, everyone who attended received the Sweet Land of Liberty, Fourth of July digital collection to use in hosting their Independence Celebration. =) If you are interested in using the collection for your celebration, it is available in the shop for sale.

So are you as excited as I am for these classes….. We had such a great turn out and such positive feedback and requests that we are hosting three classes in July targeted for Christmas in July. Everything you need to be a "Hip Hostess" this upcoming Holiday season from gift wrapping ideas to Christmas eve and New Years collections, and much more incredible tips and tricks.

A BIG thank you to Lourdes form Tutti Bambini for hosting this class. You can truly find so many wonderful products and services to help mom/baby and kid over at Tutti Bambini Maternity Concierge. A local favorite shop for me. =)

Also THANK YOU to Nancy from Viva Verde Shop who deserves a HUGE thank you and hug for always being there with a bright smile and great attitude to help me out.

and of course, ANA from Two Sweet Cakery, THANK YOU for all the yummy treats.

Want to join us at the next class, I would love to see you there!!!!!
