Hi there,

It's been a quiet week for me and a rough one that is for sure. I have been in the hospital all week with my 6 month baby girl, Gabriella. We brought her in on Sunday because we didn't like the sound of her cough or how weezy she sounded. Well right away they admitted her, attached the IV, began giving her oxygen and started treatments to get her better. The Nurses here have been a dream, and really although I HATE hospitals, they have made my stay as comfortable as they possibly could. It's sad to hear other babies crying and to know that other's are in a far more critical position. At least all the while I have known I am taking my baby home, it's unfortunate to know and say that not everyone does. So, my spirits are in a far better place this morning, although I am running on barely any sleep this week and a bad cold is making it's way to my body (please fight these germs immune system)

I did want to check in and fill you all in on what was going on with me and explain the lack of posts and updates lately.

Although I have been here all week, I have a great team and family and have managed to get all my orders out this week in a timely manner, Teacher Appreciation tags were shipped out as promised yesterday, some clients have been patiently rescheduled while others have met the better half, my hubby and received their party goods.

I am really sad that  I won't be attending what was sure to be one of the most amazing weekends for me. The Operation Shower event is this weekend and I was suppose to organize the gifts table. Being that this event was just a few hours away, I was going to drive over with my sweet friend, Kirsty from Sugar and Spice Cakes.  I am devastated but can't imagine leaving my baby girl in this condition. My first priority will always be being a mom, that is why I made the decision to work from home. I guess that is the perk of having your own business and the advantage of being my own boss, I get to make the calls. I was so looking forward to being part of this event. Operation Shower is such a sweet and thoughtful organization that helps military families. I was looking forward to seeing so many happy pregnant ladies, and showering them with love and attention this weekend. I was also going to meet so many women who like myself, have made their dream into a business and we have established sweet online friendships but have yet to meet in person because they are not local =(. Until the next one my sweet "party girls" I know we will definitely have the opportunity to meet.

On a brighter note, I am so elated to announce that I am working with one of my all time favorite party stylist, Kate  of Kate Landers Events on a very important occasion. Seriously, I am still so flattered and humbled that I am part of this project. Kate has been my ray of sunshine all week and I couldn't be happier to be working with her once again. If you remember a few weeks back we posted on how I designed some stickers for her son's Tortilly adorable party, Kate did an amazing job with this sweet gathering.

Gaby is doing well, she is a strong little girl and such a happy baby, every Nurse, Dr, therapist has fallen in love with her sweet face ( I can't blame them) wink*.

Yesterday they stopped giving her oxygen and her stats remained great, she has really improved and is breathing much better. Her official diagnosis is a viral infection, clinical pneumonia and bronchiolitis. YIKES! that is a lot of stuff for a 6 month old baby…=(

So prayers and positive thoughts for me as I wait to hear from the Dr's here and hope that today at latest tomorrow morning, I am HOME SWEET HOME!!!! Of course, only if they feel she is ready…..

All my love,

xoxo

    Andrea,
Sorry to hear that Gabi was sick. Poor thing:( But so happy that she is doing better. It's never easy to see them in that state. When Matthew has had Grand Mal seizures and ended up in Joe Dimaggio I was devastated. It's not easy to see your chid sick.
Hope you get to go home today:)

Thank You Sweet Monica, sounds terrible with the seizures, I can't even imagine. You are such an incredible strong mommy, thank you for your thoughts and prayers. xoxo
